TONIGHT'S HOMEWORK: Finish graph and questions about graph, answer #26 and #28 on page 58 of your textbook.

OBJECTIVE: 1) Students will diagram the atoms of a water molecule in order to discuss why water molecules are polar. 2) Students will describe mixtures in order to differentiate between solutions and suspensions. 3) Students will describe pH in order to differentiate between acidic and basic solutions.

OBJECTIVES: 1. The student will describe the structure of an atom in order to know the location and charge of the subatomic particles of an atom.
2. The student will discuss isotopes in order to illustrate the similarities and differences between the isotopes of one element.

WARM-UP: Describe the structure of the atom in complete sentences.

CLASSWORK: Review Sections 2-1 and 2-2 (through solutions). Play "Biology Bingo". Hand back tests.

HOMEWORK DUE TODAY: Pay lab fee, cover book. Should have read all of Chapter 2.
