February 20 (A Day) and February 21 (B Day)

OBJECTIVE: Students will solve a family pedigree problem in order to analyze how traits are passed from one generation to the next.

WARM-UP: What is a pedigree?

CLASSWORK:
1) Review of how to read karyotypes and pedigrees (pgs. 341 and 342 in text).
2) Perform Pedigree Lab.

TONIGHT'S HOMEWORK:
1) Finish all make-up work and extra credit.
2) Do next 5 flashcards: monosaccharide, polysaccharide, lipid, amino acid and protein.
3) Ch. 14 Vocab and 14-1, 14-2 and 14-3 worksheets (period 4B only needs to do 14-1).
4) Finish Pedigree lab if you didn't during class.

HOMEWORK DUE:
Ch. 14 vocabulary and 14-1, 14-2 and 14-3 worksheets.
