September 17 (A Day) and September 18 (B Day): Basic Chemistry Lesson 2

OBJECTIVE:
Students will 1) diagram the atoms of a water molecule in order to discuss why water molecules are polar, 2) describe mixtures in order to differentiate between solutions and suspensions.

WARM-UP:
Draw a molecule of water, label all parts.

CLASSWORK:
1) Complete Warm-Up and Vocabulary Cards
2) Discuss Warm-Up

5) Review and Closure of lesson

1) Read and outline Section 2-3 in textbook
2) Prepare for flashcard check and B.E.E. Book check next class
