March 16 (B Day) and March 17 (A Day)

OBJECTIVE:  Students will analyze types of genetic mutations in order to determine how they affect gene expression.

WARM-UP:  Name that tune.

CLASSWORK:
1) Warm-Up
2) Engagement: Telephone game
3) Explore: Types of mutations- given DNA strand, write out examples of each mutation.
4) Explain: Review of types of mutations
5) Review for FAST- go over answers from last class review, begin next section
6) Closure
