NOTE: Ms. Lynch will be on a field trip today. Period 4B students did not do the Bio-Tune because they were on the field trip. They do need to complete the cell drawing and write a thank you letter to the museum for homework.
OBJECTIVE: Students will develop a cell Bio-Tune in order to classify the structure and function of organelles.
WARM-UP: Recall the "Weird Al" video that you watched in class the other day. What did you like most about it, what did you like least? You do not have to write out your answer, just think about it.
CLASSWORK: Working in small groups of 2-4 people per group (your lab group is fine), write a "Bio-Tune" based on the instructions you've been given. Be prepared to share this with the class. When you are done, begin working on your cell diagram. You will need to finish this for homework.
TONIGHT'S HOMEWORK: Finish the cell diagram.
HOMEWORK DUE: Section 7-3 Worksheet (15 pts.), finish HSA BCR #14 (20 pts.) if you didn't finish it in class, and complete HSA BCR #15 (20 pts.).
