November 20 (B Day) and November 21 (A Day): Osmosis Lab

OBJECTIVE: Students will complete a lab activity in order to discuss the role of the cell membrane in the process of osmosis.

WARM-UP: Osmosis activity.

CLASSWORK:
1. Osmosis game.
2. Review of lab activity: Pick a Potato p. 50
3. Perform Osmosis HSA Lab
4. Work on BCR #16 while waiting 20 minutes for lab.

TONIGHT'S HOMEWORK: Complete analysis questions in Osmosis Lab. Do HSA BCR #16.

HOMEWORK DUE:
A Day: Bio-Tune, Cell Diagram, and Question #33 on page 198
B Day: Questions #33 and 34 on page 198

Everyone: Get a three ring binder with a section dedicated only to Biology. I expect you to have this in class every day, along with paper and a pen or pencil to write with.
